Im new to darts but really enjoying it. i was wondering. ive noticed there are darts competitions on various websites like a180 and so on. i noticed there is a competition over xmas near me. Am i allowed to enter it? its in coventry it doesnt say anything about certain people only. i know i wont get anywere and probably the worst player there but just want to have a go have some fun and watch some more experienced players play and ask for tips and take advantage of the social aspect. if there is a social aspect? well hope someone can help.

Hi mate you dont mention if it is an Open Tournament, if it is then yes you can enter, bit like the Welsh\British or Scottish Open anyone can enter, & yes there is very much a social aspect to Open tournaments as I have had the Hangovers to prove it Just enter and enjoy it for what it is a chance to see how good you are against other players. Worse thing that can happen is you get beat first game to 0 but you will meet nice people over a few beers as well & Good Luck.
